Privacy Policy

1. The short version

AugmentationAI is a managed memory service for AI agents. We store what you deliberately save to your memory store, the account data needed to run your subscription, and the minimum operational logs needed to keep the service healthy. We do not sell your data. We do not train models on your store. You can export everything as NDJSON at any time, and deletion is real deletion.

2. What we collect

• Account data — your email address and a password hash (or your GitHub account id if you sign in with GitHub). Passwords are stored salted and hashed; we never see or store them in plaintext.
• Billing data — subscriptions are processed by PayPal. We store your subscription status and a customer reference; card numbers never touch our servers.
• Your memory store — the notes, documents and references you (or your agents, through your MCP credentials) deliberately save. This is your data (section 4).
• Operational logs — standard request logs (time, IP, user agent, status) retained for security and abuse prevention, pruned on a rolling basis.

3. What we never do

• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
• We do not use the contents of your memory store to train any model — ours or anyone else's.
• We do not read your store except when you explicitly ask us to (a support request you file, or an abuse complaint we are legally obliged to investigate).

4. Your store is yours

Everything in your memory store belongs to you. You can export the complete store as NDJSON from the customer portal at any time, with no lock-in and no export fee. If you cancel or your account lapses, your store is retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted.

5. Where your data lives

Stores run on our own infrastructure in datacenters we administer. Data is stored encrypted at rest; traffic to and from the service is encrypted in transit (TLS). MCP credentials are scoped per-store so an agent can only reach the store it was given.

6. Cookies

We use one first-party session cookie to keep you signed in to the portal. No third-party tracking cookies, no fingerprinting scripts, no analytics beacons that profile you across sites.

7. Third parties

• PayPal — payment processing (governed by PayPal's own privacy policy).
• GitHub — optional sign-in (we receive your account id, login and email; nothing else).

That is the whole list.

8. Deleting your data

From the portal you can delete individual memories or the entire store. Deleting the store removes the data and its index entries from active service immediately and from backups within 30 days. Deleting your account removes account data on the same schedule. Email support@augmentationai.com and we will confirm completion.

9. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, export, or erase your personal data (GDPR, CCPA and similar). Because your store is exportable and deletable from the portal, most requests are self-serve. For anything else, contact support@augmentationai.com and we will respond within 30 days.

10. Children

The service is not directed at children under 13 (16 in the EEA/UK), and we do not knowingly create accounts for them.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy materially we will notify account holders by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect, and update the date above.
